Founded in July 2000 Homesick.com.au began as a small information website for Australian expats living all over the world.  Initially with only two products in our shop;  Vegemite and of course our famous "Homesick Pack" the popularity of the "Homesick Shop" has grown over the years to include a whole range of Australian products from DVD’s and CD’s to Clothing and all the favourite Aussie Food products that everyone misses when they are away from home. 

With no marketing budget, our growth has been achieved purely by word of mouth and after being featured on Channel 9's Getaway show in 2002 increased media attention by highlighting the unique concept of the business.  We were being talked about  in a whole range of news articles and publications from the Sydney Morning Herald to USA Today;  Australia’s very own New Idea to America's Forbes Magazine which introduced us to a much larger international audience.  

Homesick.com.au now sells more than 2,000 unique Australian products including; DVDs, CDs, Books, Clothing, Food, Sport Gear, Bags, Beauty Products, Toys and Computer Games.  With over 25,000 customers worldwide many of which are loyal customers that have returned to Australia and continue to use the site for all their favourite Aussie products we strive to constantly improve our service and offer new and exciting products.
